Beautiful black sc and a beautiful home. I think that the black is the best looking of all the colors available however, I bought a silver to avoid the trouble of trying to keep that black shiny and clean looking. I went through that with a black Mercedes that I had for awhile. I washed it about every other day. When they are clean they are the best looking without a doubt. I hope that the Blitz wax will work well for you. The factory chrome wheels really set off the whole image. Very nice!

Strange, I don't see any metallic flake in my Black Onyx car. I was under the impression it's pure black, like onyx.
I always thought that for the SC430, the only colors that aren't metallic are the Absolutely Red and the Dark Green. Even the White SC430 has metallic flakes when seen under bright sunlight.

ha! glad the car and house are so well liked around here!
house was modelled after a villa in Tuscany and was completed about 15 months ago. all the materials were antiqued (i.e. used, beaten up, old, nasty) to make its ~ 6300 liveabe sq ft look much older. inside the decor is turning out to be very old worlde / gothic / medieval. if you ever saw cher's house in malibu that is the look we were after although obviously on a much lower budget.
this style fits in really well in the arizona desert. we just came back from a vacation in Maui and it wouldn't work there are all. I love Hawaiian architecture too though, may retire there someday..
Overall glad to be back home from Maui. I was getting sick of the humidity, and it was hard "slumming" for a week in a 400sq ft hotel room and driving a Hertz Mazda 626 rathern than my SC430. Actually the 626 did pretty nicely along the crazy turns of the Hana Hwy and cliff side one-lane roads of north Maui. Only struggle was climbing the 10,000' Mt. Haleakala, the little Mazda engine was screaming the whole time!
