Does Anyone know ...
OK more and more of us are replacing, or have replaced, our OEM radio head units with newer technology. I’m actually considering replacing my 2012 upgrade with something more up-to-date. But has anyone who replaced their headunit found an equivalent method for “antenna service mode” for repairing the aerial? In the OEM radio this TSB provided a built-into the headunit method for accessing and fixing a broken antenna extension/retraction cable. Anyone figure out an equivalent? I don’t want to take my trunk apart to get to the antenna system, and I’m dreading having to put my OEM radio back in if my mast breaks.
Thoughts?

I would imagine that the procedure is just a matter of holding the mast power on for an extended amount of time, but that is just a guess. I wonder if RetroPlay ever looked into that?
