Brakes seem abrupt
Anybody notice the lack of smoothness when braking? I have an RX300 and braking with it is so smooth you have to look out the window to know if you're still rolling. With the 430, it seems difficult to modulate that same "velvet" stop. It's almost as if the brakes grab fairly hard and let go somewhat abruptly. I asked the dealer to check them and of course, there's nothing wrong with them.
Just wondering if this is idiosyncratic of the 430. BTW, I found a thread posted a few years ago in which the writer expressed how smooth the brakes on his coupe were. Definitely not the case with mine.
Thanks.

i noticed mine kinda doing the same thing. its kinda hard to modulate the brakes in the SC but i dunno if thats a fixable thing the pettel is just stifffer then in the RX so its harder to modulate the brakes. also, when i brake hard, the car gets all squrmy, hope thats becuase of those run flats.

The brakes on my SC430 are definitely much more sensitive than my LX but I don't have any problems braking smoothly. I drive my SC daily so I get plenty practice braking. The SC might be a luxury tourer but it still has the braking capability that rival most sports cars.
