Hey, wadda ya know. The "rotor retaining rings" I took off are actually "Hub Centric Rings" for the Aftermarket rims that came with my car when I bought it.

Sorry about that. That was what I was referring to in my earlier reply when I said they could be leftover from aftermarket wheels. All of my dedicated snow tire's wheels come with them from TireRack.

Go though this process every winter and spring. Run OEM Twisties on winter tires for one season and after market TSW on all seasons for the rest of the year. Hub centric rings ( white in my case ) go on every spring and need to come off early winter.
