Very rare for a long term totally dead battery to test good after a recharge. My guess is 80% max?

Thanks to all. Have had a 2007 SC for about 3-4 years and we have had dead battery issues several times; enough so that we had the alternator replaced thinking it was old and had gone bad. Were gone for about 5 days and it sat. Came back and drove it for two days; at least a little bit. Two days later the battery was dead.

Am very glad to hear the conversation about things that could have been left on. Will check dome lights, visor lights, radio, etc. We had a GROM unit installed so we could bluetooth phone calls and music through the radio system. I'm wondering if we don't completely shut down the radio before turning off the car is it continuing to drain the battery. Will check. Thanks.

Caflashbob was right. Yesterday morning, went down the garage to start the SC. Battery was dead, again. After couple hours on the charger, it showed fully charged BUT the voltage was only up to 8.4 volts. Checked the record, this Costco Interstate battery was purchased and installed on Nov 2016, which is 2 and 1/2 years old.
Took the battery back to Costco, to my surprise, they said long as it’s under 3 years, the’ll replace it for free. Boy, I love this country. So, I got a brand new battery, and the SC now is fine.
I will fully retire in December of this year and this SC will be my daily mode of transportation. For now, I just have to drive her once in a while AND purchase a good battery tender.
Just want to share this with you guys.

We were gone to VA for 10 days. No tender. The post office failed to deliver the mail so I fired up the SC after driving the LS 621 miles that day and off to the post office I went. I think it is all about the battery. I have a Duracell AGM battery that is coming up on 2 years old and never have had a problem starting the SC.
