Default my upgrades

picked up a 06 in the beginning of this year. Paid 12k with 110k miles happy with vehicle. since purchase replaced TB, WP, tires and wheels and installed drilled and slotted rotors w/pads. Also upgraded sound system with sirius and later navigation unit. Installed secondary amp with more efficient sub woofer. Only repair that was badly needed was a left kick panel junction module for an electrical concern and tire replacement because of cords showing.

Change the radio head. It wasn’t the amp in my 08 case.

Default Nice!

Looks great! What wheels are those and how much did they cost? You changed the running flats as well correct? Or did you replace them with other running flats?

Thank you.....purchased the wheels from Carid. They are 2 Crave Number 1 chrome. They were 785.40 for 4 including free mounting kit (chrome nuts & centering rings) plus free shipping. No more run flats (got Geico roadside).

One of my favorite wheels never seem to pull the trigger on them

To make it better add some wheel spacers i am running 20 in the fronts and 30 in the rears
Big different

Do you know the stock wheel weight and the weight of the new very attractive wheels?

I like Carid also.

I cannot give you the exact weight (don't remember}, but I can say the weight is the same or very close to the stock wheels, because when I sold the old stock wheels and shipped in the boxes from the new wheels...the weight was the same.

thank you...radio/nav install pretty easy with a carampsonline install kit ebay item 301740762536 39.95. kit comes with a choice of door close or door delete. I can't stress enough to be VERY careful with oem radio mounts. they can destroy the console leather. they have very sharp edges. I used masking tape and towels to protect.

Thank you. I installed pioneer and beatsonic a few months ago using the oem mounts and the beatsonic supplied plastic side covers. As you can see from my pic below, you can see the top of the oem mounting interface above my radio but does not appear to be visible in your picture. I looked at a couple of beatsonic photos online that used the oem mounts and they appear to have the same issue...makes me want to consider trying a different mounting mechanism but it’s not a huge deal.

Does that mean you had to give up the cover-door with this particular mounting kit for the radio?

no, you will have a choice 1, leave radio door working as designed or 2, radio door delete.

I too had the ugly metal bracket showing. I simply wrapped it with black vinyl elec tape, makes it not noticeable!
