Smile New Purchase

New member that just purchased a 2003 SC430 with only 22,800 miles. Silver with black interior. Love the car and all the information on this site.

Ok the big question? What did you pay for a 2003 with 22k on the clock?

I purchased this vehicle from a private party. It recently had the timing belt replaced and also has a newer battery. It was also inspected by a Lexus Dealer before purchase. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone asked me what I paid for it...lol. Asking price was $18,500 and I bought it for $17,000. Don't honestly think that was too high considering that I will have many years of driving this vehicle......of course with the top down.

That does not sound so bad given such low mileage. Take care of her and she will give you years of enjoyment.

Sounds like a great deal! all the money saved, now you can convert the bumper, headlights and tail lights to 06+

Default 2003 92,000 mile SC 430-$ 10,000 White/Saddle

After spending 10,000 on a 92,000 mile car and subsequently putting another $4000 into a timing belt ,tires ,wheels and replacing all the front suspension parts I now have about $15,000 in a 93,000 mile car no way could it be / ride as nice as a 22k mile car.

I looked for two months to find a white with saddle interior or a red with saddle interior.

Thanks to all for the welcome and stories. The information on this site is amazing. We all love our SC's and I was wondering how many are still running and not in the junk yard. My understanding is there were only a little over 60,000 made from 2002 - 2010. Or was it around 60,000 in just the United States?
