Default SC430 Custom Project

Some may have already seen this on you-tube as I frequently visit clublexus and occasionally contribute but I was recently prompted by our good friend Coleroad to share the video of how I modified my UK spec SC430.

Sometimes with very long build threads it's difficult to search and locate that one piece of info or a particular picture that answers a question. With a video you can scroll through quickly and pause at the piece you need. This won't answer all your questions or provide any original ideas but it tells the story of one custom project and does have lots of images of the car in pieces.

Thanks that's very kind. It was bought as a project car and I really enjoyed the challenge.

Wow. Lots of love & money spent on that car. I like everything you did to the car except that Celica spoiler.

Thanks everyone. No I don't have any great camera or video editing skills, I just put everything into a sensible order and muddled through it.

Very nicely done Neil! That was quite a lot of work and an excellent production video. It covered a lot of bases.

Thanks, when I started, very few in the UK had done much to modify the SC430, (WiL44 being one of the pioneers) so it became something of a quest to unleash the spirit of the Soarer from the slightly 'tame' image of the SC. I think I was spurred on to do more and more by sharing the journey with the community and getting help and honest feedback along the way.

@digitatc I agree, I've posted before I didn't quite achieve what I wanted to do with the rear spoiler. There may be another version in the future. I know how I want it to look, it's just my absence of skill to produce it.

Hi Steve, my car will not be at its best but assuming I can escape work, I will be there with a camera or two.
