Nice!

I also like the Corvair in the background.

Default Vehicle won’t respond to remote, already replaced battery

Took vehicle to dealer they charged my $175.00 and told me I’d need to leave the vehicle for further testing and a fee of $759.00 I promptly departed 😆 lol

has anyone experienced this problem, I’m looking for possible solutions 🤔🤔🤔

I guess you mean, lock, unlock, trunk and alarm, but you can still start the car.
Did you try a second remote?
if you don’t have one, it could be the transmitter.
also, the receiver antenna is in the rear view interior mirror.
perhaps a fuse.

So are you saying to unlock the car you have to insert the key into the mechanical lock in the door? What about the remote trunk release? What about raising and lowering the windows with the key?
BTW did you buy the car already modded?

Default Remote doesn’t respond follow up

Correct: the vehicle starts, I tried a second remote and changed the battery. The dealer had more car for an hour and said they couldn’t determine the problem without another $500 to diagnose. Seems like they would have checked the fuse. But I’m open to all suggestions.

Did the dealer check the CBEST or PERSONAL setting. Wireless functions can be turned off. What about the panic alarm?

IF it turns out wireless functions were disabled in CBEST or LPS, and the dealer couldn’t figure it out I’d be worried about their expertise.

Unfortunately you need TechStream and a compatible laptop to check and or change the settings.
