Default Wheel Offset Help

Somewhat embarassing but have to admit I cannot figure out if setup would work using the wheel fitment guide posted on the wheel fitment sticky thread. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking at wheels 18x8.5 ET32, 18x10.5 ET22 (285 35 18 tires). I believe the fronts should fit ok but don't know about the backs?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Another Forum member - can't remember who sorry but that person should get the credit - sent me this wheel and tire calculator. I think it has the stock wheel parameters including width and offset in the first column. You can change all sorts of parameters to compare the fit of your proposed wheel combo in the second to the stock set up. I find it better than guessing.

The one crucial thing this calculator does not tell you about is unsprung weight. All things being equal, I personally want a wheel/tire/brake combination that weighs less than stock for better handling. That is why I am purchasing Enkei PF01s - but there are other choices.

I read that whole thread 3 times over before I understand this.

If you look at the chart your front wheel is in the yellow (good) and the rear is in red (no good unless you are going to roll/mod the fender).
The consensus is this 25mm spacers for the front and 35-38mm to the rear.
With that in mind:
Front is equivalent to 19mm spacer to stock rims so you still have 5-6mm extra.
Rear is equivalent to 55mm spacer to stock rims so you are way over by 17mm.
Are you sure your rear offset is 22?

Default You need the tire size also for the correct fit!

You need to vary your tire size also. Wheel fitment is more complex than one factor. I suggest one uses the calculator referenced/linked above in my posting 2 above to check your results against the colorful table/chart. This may give you more choices of tires well as wheel.

Here are the results for the rear for which we have a tire size.
