Default ABS Wheel speed sensor

I recently took my sc430 out the garage, its been sitting for over 4 years just collecting dust. My car is garage kept, never driven in winter and only in the summer time, it only has 51,000 miles and its a 2005. I installed a new battery and the engine light came on, I scanned it and had to replace the 02 sensor. I took it to get serviced and I get a call from the garage that my now suddenly there are multiple codes showing that were never showing before or ever.
P0500
P0221
P1122
P1624
P0222
P0122

I find it hard to believe this happen while the car was in shop and I have never had any issues. I took the car to autozone and after getting a print out it states the most likely solution is the ABS wheel speed sensor? Does that make any sense and has anyone else had this issue? Why would my check engine light be on for the abs wheel speed sensor and not the abs light?
If anyone has an idea or ever had this issue please let me know, trying to find out whats wrong and if I can fix it or do I need to take it to lexus which im trying to avoid if possible.

Wow, there are a lot of interesting things in your post. Let's start with a few:

Has the car LITERALLY Been sitting for 4 years? Was it working fine when you parked it?
If so, it seems weird that a car parked could break down. To me, it sounds like possibly a mouse got into your engine and chewed on some of your wires. I would open the hood and closely inspect the engine bay with a flashlight. See if you see any chewed wires, or smell any urine. If you smell some, check that area more closely

I would also google the codes you got. 1 of them has to do with the abs sensor, but most of them have to do with your throttle position. It sounds like possibly your throttle position sensor is off. I found a "re-Learn" procedure for the IS250. I do not know if it will work for the SC, but you can try it. It only takes 50 seconds http://www.fixya.com/cars/t25127444-...dy_lexus_is250

I would also try disconnecting your battery and reconnecting it again. It probably won't solve your problem, but it is easy and free to do

If you google the various codes you’ll find the definition(s) for them. But I have some questions. Was the “sitting” with no power for four years? Have you inspected the engine bay for damaged wire harness(es)? Some of those codes refer to the throttle body electronics but all of these simultaneously failures could/may indicate rodent damage.
Sorry I can’t offer much more right now as I’m stuck in a jury lounge with about 250 others who are bored out of our minds. Especially since I’ve been here for four hours and not one juror has been called.

If you had the battery disconnected for the 4 years, these codes most likely came on as power shocked the sensors back to life! Some sensors evaluate their situation as the car warms up, so it's possible the car woke up with numerous problems once electricity started flowing.
Note: It's also possible, but not probable, that given some time, the sensors will go back to normal once you get some miles, and a little drive time with the car.

Thanks and yes the car was sitting for 4 years, maybe 5. Had a kid, got engaged and life changed, she wanted me to get rid of the car (yea right, not happening). No issues ever, this was my single guy car, this car may have been driven in the rain 5 or 6 times since 2005. I will inspect the engine bay when I get home to look for any thing out of the ordinary.

I have googled all the codes, they point to a break sensor the problem is that my abs light isnt on, just the engine which is weird.

Error codes as follow from autozone
P0500 Vechile Speed sensor A
P0221 Throttle/Pedal Position Switch B Circuit Range /Performance
P1122 Accelerator Full close switch circuit
P1624
P0222 Throttle/Pedal Position sensor b circuit low input
P0122 Throttle/pedal position sensor a circuit low input

Sadly the wire insulation is tasty to hungry, not getting disturbed varmints. May not be the problem but kinda odd for simultaneous failures where harnesses connect these sensors including the O2.

VVTiBob you stated some thing that now has me thinking. I took the car to get the O2 sensor replaced, they replaced my O2 sensor but then told me they saw other error codes which didn't make any sense. I'm now wondering if the (failures our due to any thing the installer did when replacing the 02 sensor?) If the wires are in the same harness at the O2 sensor how the heck would he not notice the wires were chewed up or couldn't he have possibly damage wires when installing the O2 or just slightly disconnected hoping I would bring the car back so they could make more money?

What a mess, thanks for the help everyone at least I have some thing to go off of

Re: O2 sensor. It depends on the bank and position. Throttle body & electronics are top of the engine, while O2 sensors are below.

Bob makes an excellent point (as always)

Did they replace the driver's side rear sensor?

The harness for that comes up through the floor board right around the base of your transmission tunnel. I bet it runs to the gas pedal sensor harness.

I heard the o2 sensor harness is hard to get to, so maybe they did something wonky to make the job easier (Like splicing the harness or something)

You can take a look at this post to get a better idea

Because of the difficulty in accessing the modular connector for the O2 sensors...some shops have spliced in.... don’t know, just saying.

Anyway, in the diagram above the location of the sensors, including the gas pedal, and Engine bay ECM are shown.

Thanks Bob it's really starting to sound like that's what they did. It never made any sense that those codes all came up when they were working on the car. I have a strong feeling this car will be going to the dealer, hoping to save some money but I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks for the photo Bob I just printed it out.

Happy to help.. sitting around the “Jury Assembly” room with 250 citizen strangers has been a real joy today. But they just released us...so we’re free at last.
