I am looking for some help using my newly acquired Techstream. I had it set up remotely by one of their technicians a few weeks ago and wanted today to shut off the DSLS'. I cannot get the unit to recognize the car at all. It gives a error ;check data connection'. The data link and usb connections seem to be tight. Anyone have this problem on their first use?

After much ado the techstream is finally working as designed. I had three remote sessions with the computer geeks at the manufacturer and it was discovered techstream has a compatibility problem with w7. We installed a background xp system for the techstream program so it can come alive. I guess the end justifies the means. I am just happy that now I will be able to get rid of the ugly dsls.

He meant DRLs. Leexed, be sure to check all functions. If you have Ver 13, be aware, it will crash in some tests. Run the health check, if the software does not give you an error message, you're ok.
