Default Transmission Rebuilt at 180K miles

Looking at a SC430 and the current owner sent me the service records, also the timing belt and water pump were replaced at 98K miles. I have an SC400 with 255K miles on it, I don't believe the transmission has ever been replaced. Looking at the service records it is kind of long for a 2006 vehicle. Thoughts on possible next steps.

You confuse me. Which car is at 180 k. The SC definitely need new TB and WP. I’m not sure about the transmision.

I currently own a 97 SC400 with 255K miles on it. I am looking at an 06 SC430 with 181K miles on it, which had the TB/WP done at 98K miles. The SC430 recently had the transmission rebuilt, I mentioned that I was surprised because I haven't had to rebuild the transmission on my SC400. Yet it has more miles, having the transmission rebuilt makes me concerned.

Are you servicing the fluid in yours? This is how you get 300k+ miles on them. And how you drive.

I drive my SC400 like I stole her and love every minute of it, but no telling what someone else did to a younger car with less miles and a transmission rebuild. I think I just need to be patient and wait for the right SC430 to come my way.
