Default Need help !! Abs lights on, vsc, vsc off, brake..

I've went to start my car today (every week, not a daily) and i notice my brake light, vsc, vsc off, abs, traction off, and a beep thay doesn't end. The week prior, i drove it and everything was fine. I always maintain it. I've tried to do the reset to take the vsc and vsc off, didnt work. I had changed the vsc ecu before and it worked, but last time there wasn't a nonstop beep. I'd put it in gear and it felt like i had no brakes!!! Quick parked it. Ive check the brake fluid it was above max (never seen it so high always in the middle or slightly above it), with no discoloration or smell. My brake rotors were service and they were thin, but still good and resurfaced, when i changed my brake pads. Wtf is going on????

There was a thread last year, the poster was on a freeway and exact same things happened, all brake light were on, he had no brake at all. Fortunately, he managed to pull over and eventually was able stopped the car without incident.
Do the search for this subject thread. If I am not mistaken it has something to do with the brake master cylinders.

Also, check your battery. The ECUs do crazy stuff when the battery is going down. Do a load test on it if the voltage level looks okay.

Thank you fellow members. I will check the battery and just order another brake/abs mc unit. Thats nuts, if it goes out while driving 😲.

The brake MC unit can be a bit pricey. It sounds like it is your problem, but you may want to get the codes read before you pull the trigger

I think this is the thread you were talking about: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...xus-sc430.html

The carista app and a OBDII scanner have been helpful. I semi-frequently get that display and it pops error codes relater to a mass air sensor, and a small exhaust leak?? If I reset i get a lot of driving out of it. Seems to happen after a relatively extended period of idling. Keep it parked in my office garage and don't drive very much. 2003 with 115k miles, egyptian sand? and ecru. Love that little car

It is very common for the vacuum hoses in our SC's to get brittle and crack. Easy to change also. If it starts to appear more frequently, you probably want to change them.

There is a couple of posts under vacuum leak if you do a search
