Hey all.

I am wanting to bypass the ML amp, I hate setting my aftermarket head unit half way and using the steering wheel only for volume control. The phone call volume is way too low and has to be cranked up by the steering wheel control when answered and when I hang up the music is blaring. This is using a Carplay unit with Alert volume set to max. This is in addition to other limitations with the Beatsonic.

I am planning on running my own wiring to each door speaker set and have ?’s.

Does anyone know if the front door speakers have a crossover network?

anyone know how to get steering wheel controls to work without a Beatsonic on an aftermarket (Pioneer) head unit?
