Default Android in stock monitor

Want to show you my install of android radio from ali express in stock sc monitor. Android device 1 gb ram 16 gb rom.

To install it to monitor's body a had to cut it.

Sound is playing via stock mark levinson radio, backup camera installed in rear spoiler.

My mistake was to buy 1 gb it's a little slow, better take 2 gb ram.

Would you post a link to where to buy that specific unit?

That is fantastic!

I went the naviks way and honestly, in retrospect, I kind of wish I looked into something like this.

This is really great work..I mean, really.

I wish I could do this to my 06, but I just don't have the skill and I'm not sure if any local install place is capable either.

Really nice. Definitely on my strong want list.

It is not so hard, you need to cut nav screens body and it fits perfect.

How did u make this work? Is this a direct replacement to the stock screen? Does it affect the stock radio in any way? Does the stock screen control the climate control? Thanks

EVGENY,

This is really a great idea. You can even use this unit to read a TPMS system or to read a Bluetooth OBDII Adapter
https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-Android-8...05955e8f54e785

Is there a certain version of Android you recommend? I see 7, 8.1 & 9 listed on the different units

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high about the TPMS, I doubt that it will work with the Lexus TPMS system. IIRC, the SC430 TPMS is a proprietary system that is not just data off of the OBDII port. However, that would be really cool if it could.

I also have to wonder about the steering wheel control access for the same reason.

All that said, I will be interested to see what all can really be done with it if someone takes that project on. For less than $100, that Android device could be the cat's meow.

Ah, now that makes sense. I like being able to actually see all the information on the sensors.
