Wow! That’s a nice find. Looks like it is plug and play. I used an S2000 Honda antenna (with the holder and all). According to your DIY, this is remove powered antenna and install the base (nut matches your mount?). Can you get a close up picture of the base so other folks can understand? A lot of SC owners want to go away from the telescoping antennas. Reception is good?

In my case S2000 Stick antenna that fits into a S2000 base. I think they are generic and use the same thread as the Toyota base, not sure though.
