Default Stubby Antenna Option

Having change my power antenna last year and lasting less than 6 months I found this on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BB2MTFR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I
install it last weekend the reception in the garage wasn't bad, looking for a white antenna to replace the black

I just had my power antenna start 'jamming' on extension and retraction, so I was just looking for a stubby replacement. I'm currently just using a FM convertor for my phone on the OEM headunit.

What was the install like?

About 10 minutes just follow the instructions on removing the power antenna than insert the lower piece put the nut back on and screw in the new antenna

What is the reception like so far?

Did you pull the fuse or removew the original motor or just leave it?

Wow! That’s a nice find. Looks like it is plug and play. I used an S2000 Honda antenna (with the holder and all). According to your DIY, this is remove powered antenna and install the base (nut matches your mount?). Can you get a close up picture of the base so other folks can understand? A lot of SC owners want to go away from the telescoping antennas. Reception is good?

@njsteve I'm thinking about swapping my antenna out. Which one would you say has the best reception?

Sorry I don't take the car out of the garage much during the winter I am still deciding which one to use. It's down to the chrome and just the white one.
I mostly use CDs when I am driving anyway.

My Honda S2000 stubby gets good reception. I play Spotify mostly, do not use FM, (CD player is jammed anyway) through my Bluetooth adapter.
