HI, new here. My wife has a 2002 SC430, and the VSC and VSC Off lights have just started coming on. Tried to push the VSC button to change the setting, but the lights both stay on. Never saw this problem before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Go to post 10 on this thread and follow the instructions. Read the entire thread there are better pictures. I have used it twice on my sons 05 SC 430 when I used my techstream and cable from my 06 SC 430 on his 05. They use different firm ware/OBDII plug and I triggered VSC and VSC light off lights. It easy to do. If that does not work than you may have a vacuum leak?

I'll be darned. That jumper wire trick worked the first time. And by following all of the links I also figured out why the thing messed up in the first place. I tried to read a code with a generic, non-Toyota code reader. Apparently those will cause some issues with older Toyota cars that I didn't know about. Wont make that mistake again.
Thanks for all the help.
