Mats for spare tire kit
I am trying to order all the parts I need for the spare tire kit. I found thru search all the parts I need except for the two pieces of carpet mats.
I been dealing on line with out success. Does anyone know the current part numbers for hard and soft mats?
thanks

thanks
the luggage mat doesn’t seem to be available not sure if it’s the top or bottom cover
the luggage cover is the trim piece behind the spare tire
I ordered the spare cover
so I am still looking for both mats
might have to cut the existing mats

here is the thread of my two adventures with the spare tire kits...the first kit was $680 from a US Lexus dealer on eBay...the second, start reading at post 47ish, from Japan...it will save you some serious cash. Dennis and I used Megazip.

The mat that goes on the back wall if you will megazip will not ship they said it was to big. I did what BGW70 did I cut it out of the OEM panel/mat that was there. When you take it and install the bracket that the tires bolts 2 then you just cut out the panel to slide over it. I ordered 6 feet of window edging in light gray and then just installed on the cut out edge to give it that finished look. I did that on both my SC and my sons 05 SC and it came out looking great. You cannot see it when the tire is installed anyway. You drill out 4 holes for the bumpers and it slip right over. For the lower mat I ordered 1 for mine and then used it for a pattern for my sons and then installed that same light grey window edging and it looks great.

when you look up this part number, they show two items, one say w/run flats.
to be sure, call a Lexus parts counter person and they can confirm the part is the bottom rigid board mat for the spare tire.

You can use that as a pattern for the hard OEM peace that covers the tool tray. Put the edging on it and you will be good to go.
