HomeLink garage door opener programming
I was unsuccessful with the procedure outlined in Owner's Manual (p. 63) to program garage door buttons near the interior light switches. On the HomeLink website I found a solution. Press BOTH outside buttons in car. After 20 secs or so, the tiny light starts to blink. You can then simultaneously press buttons on car and remote to complete the job.

Lexus is 2003.
Garage door opener is very old, but uncertain just how so.

I thought at first I needed to 'train' the remote, but could find no button on the mechanism control board.

awesome, I just Wanted to ask because the newer doors are not compatible with the older homelink v1.1, us. You need an adapter so they can communicate with the new v2.0
