Default Speedometer not working

I jacked my engine up a bit to fix oil pan and put it back in place then bolted it back down i went to get some gas and realized my speedometer is not can anyone pinpoint where I need to look to fix the problem

RockyCoker, I just did my engine oil pan last week using an engine crane to lift it off the mounts for clearance. I didn't have any problems with the speedometer afterwords, it could be a coincidence for you that it happened after the engine lift. If you have a techstream, you can check the instrument cluster (control / move the speedometer needle). I had to do this to adjust all the indicator needles after putting in brighter LEDs . I guess you could have disturbed one of the wires going into the transmission. Jack the car up and take a look. I hope you find the problem.

Did you ever resolve your Flashing Light issue? There is a VERY VERY VERY good chance that your two problems are related.

It could be a bad speed sensor, or it could be the brain box (Ecu) that controls your ABS system

Your best bet is to have the codes read by an Autoparts store. They usually do that for free.

Or you can buy a cheap generic reader off amazon

Or you can see if you can get a copy of techstream

The first two options are hit or miss if it is the brain box. But you can probably use the process of elimination if it is not a speed sensor
