Default OBD Not Communicating

2006 SC430 85000miles
Took it in to get emission tested this AM and they were unable to do it due to "OBD not communicating" error at the test site.
Any idea what could have caused this or how to troubleshoot or fix it?
TIA

Brian

Try taking it to an auto parts store that has a tester. See if you can get it to communicate. The only time I have ever had a similar problem was when I was using an incompatible tester. If that doesn't work, come back and I will go through the schematics to see where you might want to look first.

Take your SC to another test site to confirm your problem. Is every thing OK? Vehicle performance?

Runs great, no issues at all.
The last time my OBD would have been accessed, as far as I can tell, was when my shop replaced the radiator last year to possibly clear codes.

The lines at the emissions site were over 3/4 mile this AM waited for over 60 mins to be told "sorry can't do anything". They've closed a lot of them due to C-19.

So you have lights on your dash AND you can't read your OBD computer?

Or you have lights on your dash and you haven't had time to check your obd computer?

In other words, can you please clarify your question?
