Decided to go out and drive the SC430 while everyone was out of the house on Saturday. Only to come out and discover the battery is dead. Pissed because I had a remote start installed, alarm, and new radio added about a week ago. I am thinking they might be pulling on my battery a lot more than previously.

how many days did it sit between starts?
how old is the battery?

Probably a week, no longer than 7 days. I want to say I had it sitting in my garage at the house that long without starting it. It has 42K miles on it and is a 08, so it has sat before without starting it. I don't know the age of the battery, I could replace it just for the peace of mind aspect.

Take it to a parts store for recharging first. Also, look up the battery on line and see what the warranty period is. Might save yourself some cash. Batteries are not cheap. Then start looking fir the current drain.

There are so many reasons a battery can go bad.
I had the same issue a few years back because I only drove the car a few months out of the year.
So I bought one of these bad boys...
It is a battery tender, it maintains the charge and can even start the car in the event I forget to plug it in.
You brought up some good points Titan. The remote start and alarm both will draw power when the engine is off. The radio has the potential to do the same. I'd put a meter on the current draw for them while the car is off. Then you can also do the same for the main power by monitoring the current draw through the main power line (ground or power) to the battery. Those tests will probably tell you everything you need to know. If the current draw is very low and in the acceptable range, the problem either lies with your battery or one of the interior lights was left on (either by switch or by a door/trunk).
If you replace the battery I would get a Duracell AGM. I have had one in the SC since Jan of 2018 and can go weeks without driving the car and it has never let down. Now I always turn off the radio and do not leave the lights on auto. The AGM's costs a little more but I believe they are worth it.
100% agree on AGM. went through several batteries in the first 6 mo of my new-to-me 2009 back in 2017. Mechanic tested to see if anything was a parasitic draw; couldn't find anything.
Have an AGM, a battery tender and keep a charger in the trunk.

I will certainly look into this, do this need to be plugged into an electrical outlet at all times? I have a portable jumpbox, I don't always get a chance to drive my cars and don't want to pull my Tundra around at all times to jump. I scheduled a free battery assessment at my local Lexus dealer. Some of the guys in the VA forums speak very highly of them. Depending on what they say I will go from there and either replace the battery with the one you guys recommend. I also don't foresee driving it very often so I need something that will crank on the first turn at all times.
I don't know the rest however my current battery is a Continental. I never knew they made batteries.
I did a quick search on Duracell AGM and found these two, I like the long replacement time they both offer, thoughts? The price isn't bad for the peace of mind alone
