Do you have recommendations for companies that do that type of work?
Use Yelp or Google to search your local area for rim or wheel repair. Then call and compare quotes. Then I recommend road force balancing.

Road force balancing is great, but spendy! It shouldn't be necessary unless you are attempting to correct for some other problem in your front end. If your suspension is tight, normal balancing is sufficient.

I'm thinking of replacing the front struts with kyb's Has anyone done this type of work before? I am pretty mechanically inclined, But what problems could I run into? It has no rust on any bolts from what I can see.

This video shows the procedure pretty well. Little home grown but if you have the right tools it's not particularly hard. Do the mounts for sure and boots if torn.

I have looked all over to find a video of strut replacement for the sc43 to no avail..... Hopefully this is the same procedure.
I think I am going to get the boot covers also.
Thanks again, Great forum

I've seen issues in Toyotas with the spring insulators, the rubber that keeps the springs from touching the metal spring seats. But I have yet to tackle an SC strut replacement. Whether they look worn or not, I recommend new, OEM rubber to prevent future issues with clunking when encountering bumps and potholes.

Old rubber deteriorates. Not a lot you can do to slow it down. Rack bushes are easy to do. Lower engine mount it as well. Or some call it the transmission mount. Oh, and the sway bar bushings.
