Get the Navisk. About 200 bucks and 4 hours of labor. You must retain the NAV unit.

@bmanone How did you secure the garmin in the plastic housing..foam? Im trying to keep it in there tight.

I used medium density black/grey closed cell foam from packing material I saved over the last few years. I cut the pieces to fit with scissors and wedged the Garmin GPS tightly in place.
