Wow! Thanks everyone for your great replies and advice! I highly appreciate it. Extremely nice forum! Footlight, tried looking but it’s difficult, will have to try and get the panel off (if I’d dare to&#128561. Managed to change the bulb in the glove box. Door light driver side - changed the bulb...nothing. Tried the bulb house in the other door...work fine😔
have to sort out another issue...wiper’s washer doesn’t work...
Leds - appreciate the advice but am not sure...like the “old” look of the dim yellow low light vs the modern look of led, but might give it a try...
Will install car play and reverse cam on the navigation unit.
Price wise...afraid to shock you😫lots of import taxes in my country...about 29k usd... but happy with every dollar spent

yes those are what I have on my oem set of wheels. They work fine and many people prefer them to pie plates.

I'm with you on your preference for the OEM tungsten bulbs. Especially for the dome lights that "fade-out" when they time out. LED's don't fade--they're either on or off. I've replaced some of my interior lights in some of my vehicles. The LED light is a little brighter, and they use a lot less juice, but I miss the ambiance of the tungsten. Too, for old eyes like mine, the LED's sometimes cause blurring, but this is most noticeable with the headlights and tail lights of other cars on the road. I predict the NHTSA will some day regulate these to make them less uncomfortable for oldsters.

Actually, the LEDs will fade as the voltage drops.

Interesting....this has not been my experience with my SC and Tundra dome lights. Isn't a single LED diode either on or off? I know there are dim-able LED bulbs on the market for 120v (household) use, but I always thought they must have circuitry to switch multiple diodes for dimming.

Well, it kind of depends. The discrete LED itself will get brighter as you apply a higher voltage to it. However, some LED products have circuitry inside that will supply the discrete LED in the product with a singular set voltage. (They basically use a voltage regulator.) So the product will accept a range of voltages but the LED itself will only be supplied with the singular voltage making it a non-dimmable product. Most of the interior LEDs that will be used in our car will be barebones LEDs, for the most part, and thus will dim as the voltage drops from 12V.
