garmin drivesmart 65T with bc30 backup camera
Anyone ever used this combo? I cannot get the drivesmart 65t to find the bc30. i wired it to a constant power source which i know is good. the bc30 has no way to tell it is on ..on the camera or transmitter. YOu really dont know. In any case it cant find the camera even when it is right next to the drivesmart. Does show compatible on garmin's site. thanks

Just courious, how does the Garmin suppose to find the bc30. Did you wire the bc30 directly to the Garmin or the bc30 has BT capability?

I think maybe my issue is this..? Ordered the Garmin GPS unit. Wired it with the power supply that came with it. Then you buy the bc30 camera. That has its own power supply for the GPS unit but I think it has a transmitter in the cord
So I have to pull apart the whole dash again and run the cord from the back of the gps to the 12v cigarette plug.. then wire the other part of the camera to the reverse light .
