Im looking to change from run-flats, from what I understand do I need to have anything calibrated at the dealership? Run flats tend to be heavier and stiffer so I was thinking it would make sense that the car would have to be adjusted for those things, have any members change from run flats to regular tires? Did you get anything about the car changed or just slap the regulars on? Thanks. I would prefer to not give these stealerships more of my money.

All most everyone has gotten rid of the run flats. The run flats are a 245/40/18R. Again most folks have gone to a 245/45/18R tire size when they have replaced the run flats. The 245/45/18R brings your odometer to spot on or at least with my GPS. The only noticeable difference you will have is that huge smile on your face as to how much better the SC rides. One of the things you might want to consider is getting a new set of all 4 colors of the TPMS and change them out at that time. You now know what there status is and will not need to demount and rebalance should one or more go bad 30 days down the road. There is no need for any recalibrations.

The only things that most owners do when they change to standard tires is to either get a tire repair kit and a pump for the trunk or install the spare tire kit in the trunk (along with the spare tire). Both have a few threads documenting them on this forum.
