Beatsonic MVA-12L Does Amp Change EQ with Top Up Down?
When using a BeatSonic MVA-12L to replace factory head unit, does the ML amp change its EQ when SC's top is up vs down?
ML amp's EQ changes with the OEM head unit, but what happens with a modern head unit interfaced with the ML via a Beatsonic MVA-12L?
Also, is the nice CD mode sound processing that the OEM head unit triggers when in CD mode also get triggered with a Beatsonic?

That's good news regarding the Beatsonic allowing the EQ to change with the top going down. That means the ML amp is still getting signaled the top is down. That might be handled by the top controllers independent of the Beatsonic unit.
Now for the CD mode EQ.... Probably a lot harder to answer unless someone has a Beatsonic AND is running an independent sound source downstream (like my iPod connection) )that isn't swapped when a non-OEM head unit changes modes.
I'm trying to determine if going to a non OEM head unit + Beatsonic means losing the richer and more spacious CD mode processing of the ML amp.

I have written BeatSonic US to ask whether their adapter signals the ML amp to be in a particular EQ mode. Hopefully, it signals the amp to be in CD audio processing mode full time.
