I saw you haven't upgraded the front sway bar yet. if you do, try to get something not too stiff otherwise you'll feel the bumps on the road. I have the front TRD bar and it's a little stiff.
I'll try to get toe to 0 and camber -1 in the front, -1 to -1.5 in the rear.
btw, when you do the rear knuckle bushings, make sure got the right tool to press the new ones back in. So much swearing in the garage that my wife complained.
Thanks! I actually bought a GS300 front sway bar last year, but ended up selling it because I felt the upgraded rear took care of everything I was after. The SC is prone to understeer from the factory and the rear bar is massively undersized, so beefing just that one up has the benefit of balancing the two while reducing some understeer. That's also why I opted to run more negative camber in the front than rear.

Which tool(s) did you need to do the rear bushings? I have a press and some bearing adapters that were handy for the front bushings.

But your post has me wondering if I shouldn't go for something more comprehensive like you've done and do the control arms etc as well...

Though as I look more closely at the pics, it looks like the other upgrades wouldn't require the removal of the coilovers. Or are there things I'm not seeing and should do that do require coilover removal?

Thanks for an exciting and educational thread!!
Thanks rosco! You'll love the new coilovers and steering rack bushings. I noticed a big difference with the steering rack bushings and mine weren't even in that bad of condition.

I did a bad job of taking pictures along the way because I was trying to power through this install. You could do all these upgrades without removing the coilovers, but you'll be removing a decent amount of them to get to the coilovers, so it's way easier to do it all at once. I'm glad I chose to replace the lower control arm bushings, because mine were extremely cracked and not working as well as they should. Swapping to poly bushings will ensure I don't have to replace those again anytime soon, if ever.

Take a look at Seattle SCone's thread to get a better idea of everything involved. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...s-project.html

Many thanks. Look forward to diving in! Coilovers arrive today. I ordered the new adjustable control arm bushings from SuperPro but they have yet to ship. Did get a note that they've arrived in US. They just need to unpack container to find em...

How did you get the truck panel with the emergency release out? Last time I tore my trunk apart, I couldn't get that part to budget ... or the panel off with it in place.

That one threw me for a loop too. You have to pry the black plastic surround off. The handle and inner portion remains in place.
