Pebble Beach paint?
I have looked at a lot of sc430’s since we acquired ours. Most look very good as far as paint and shiny goes.
looking closely at our 08 it seems the PB has additional clear coat and maybe the underneath paint itself.
The panels have a round edge because of the thickness? Our low mile PB garage queen is as shiny as the ceramic cars shown here.
Anyone measured their paint thickness? Crazy I know but after a lot of looking it sure appears that our PB at least has “special paint?
our obsidian black 08 seems to have extra clear coat but maybe not as much as the PB.
am I crazy or am I remembering something out of the brochure or internet postings?
maybe it’s just the low mile garages car but the shine seems more than the other versions?
the detail shop throws up their hands as far as making this one shinier.
Little or no orange peel. Either the paint or clear? Is that normal?
Seems they block sanded the paint then more coats then sanded again several times then the clear?
am I remembering correctly?
The question is is the 08 PB different
