That looks really nice. It’s true, unique colors and effects can be had with a wrap. So far, we are happy with ours. Only time will tell whether that happiness continues long term.

To be fair, the shop may have removed the wax as I wasn't there. I waxed it to get it as clean as I could prior to taking it in.

OK, that seems reasonable. I will just thoroughly clean it and leave the wax off.

Because of all the little trim pieces surrounding the top parts, I'm thinking a whole paint job has to be rather expensive to get it done right. So...I've considered wrapping it. I understand the wrap will only be for about 3 years, but I'm okay with that. I'm going to use the KPMF material KPMF K75400 Gloss Red Black Iridescent and have a quote for $1,100 to wrap it. If anyone has had their SC wrapped, would you please post some pictures?

Thanks,

$1100 to wrap an SC430 is actually less than I thought it would cost.. I figured it would be closer to $2500

A quality top notch paint job on these cars can easily approach $10k

Do you just wash the car normally when it gets dirty or are there any precautions to take? Also, does it ever need to be waxed after? Does it mess with the original paint job underneath, and can the wrap be taken off and the paint underneath still look normal?

SC430fun, you wouldnt have any pictures of that dual exhaust system would you? I plan on doing mine and the pictures I have seen of others ran both pipes into a single pipe after removing the muffler/cat and then back out again to two pipes. That just doesnt seem productive.

I just got the quote to wrap mine identical to WIL44's scheme and will start the wrap this week end. $1700 complete. Only difference between his and mine will be the front bumper. Mine is peeling paint and without a complete repaint it will show thru the wrap unless it is a textured wrap so the bumper will be a black carbon fiber textured.
