Default Wheel Fitment Help Needed.

Yes, another will these wheels fit thread. Sorry.
Before anyone recommends 20" wheels that fit their car, please don't. I need 19" wheels. Already bought the tires. 245/35R19 & 285/30R19.
Car has front LS400 brakes so that is one of the issues. Car has coilovers and will lower a little bit but nothing drastic. Son's car, want him to be able to drive the car anywhere.
Having to find wheels I like with offsets that will work. The sales guy will then, contact the manufacturer to check for clearance. What I'm trying to figure out, is with the above tires I listed(245/35R19 ~ 285/30R19), what offsets and widths should I go with?
Looking at a couple pairs right now.
F: 19x9.5 +35
R: 19x9.5 +22
or
F: 19x8.5 +20
R: 19x9.5 +20

If those offsets work, will find out if the wheel design clears big brakes. Thanks for the help.

Is it common practice to have 30R tires in the rear and 35R in the front? I know I don't know I don't have a true understanding of all these fitment issues but it seems counter intuitive that the "taller" sidewalls are in the front and the "lower" ones are in the back. If rear tires are wider (275/285) then wouldn't they have taller sidewalls? re front tires, what's the widest tires anyone out there has mounted - 245? 255? wider than either of these?

With the tires you already have, I would recommend getting a 9-9.5 front and 10-10.5 rear. I can't say for sure on offset but somewhere between 22-35 will get you in the correct ballpark.

Yes, common. The goal is to keep the same diameter as the OEM tires that came on the car. The speedometer, traction control... things like that will be affected if you change the diameter. The stock diameter is 25.7". The tires I bought, 245/35R19 & 285/30R19, are both 25.8".
My C5 Corvette is similar, but goes even further. They stagger rim size as well. Came with 17" front/18" rear. I'm running an 18"/19" combo.
I've seen a bunch of SC430s in google searches with wide rear tires, wider than 285. My question is the offset in keeping them centered in the well so I won't rub. The front Big Brakes is my other issue.

Use this measurement by Talwang as your guide for the wheels.
The first set you have is not stagger setup for your tires so they will look weird, stretching front tires but not in rear.
For the 2nd set you list, the front is still OK but the rear you are really pushing it. (closer to red = fender rolling) If you lower, need to roll fender for sure.

I printed this out when I first started searching for wheels. Guess I am not reading it right. I want to get the wheels out to look aggressive but of coarse, not rub. What is the ideal offset then? Let's say I go with an 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. Am I shooting for say a +25 offset front and rear? Would that put them just inside the lip, where as the 25 would be right at the lip?

Offset +20 front and +25 rear.

Since you have 285 rear tires, try to get the 10in rear wheel (change offset to 30mm)

So you are saying to look for an 8.5" +20 front and 10" +30 rear?

yes, or you can go for 9in +25 front and 10in +30.

Also if you are looking at upgrading your brakes (noted you had a thread about that) you want to pay attention to the disk pad / high disk fitment on the wheels you select. Vendor should be able to help you with that if you are buying new.

Also it's better if the wheels are hubcentric so you don't need rings - less moving parts to balance and ride better.

Fitment Industries is trying to help. I need to have my width and offsets right, find wheels in those specs, then they are checking to see if they clear big brakes. The car already has LS400 brakes on it. I had to add RCA's to it as the previous installer didn't know wtf he was doing. I fixed the few issues with the brake conversion, now need proper wheels so I can dial in the coilovers that were also installed at the same time.

Don't see any options in those sizes/offsets unless I'm looking at spending $2500+.

If you don't lower much then you shouldn't have to worry about rubbing.
19in wheels should clear the LS400 brake. The wheels design that is on my car has a lot of clearance.
