Default Cheap spare tire choices

I figured I'd start a thread on junkyard donut spares. It sux not having a spare tire on any car IMO. Here's a couple of the super skinnys I found for keeping trunk space, <2% size difference and correct bolt pattern.

135/70 18 2018 Subaru WRX STI
145/80 17 2007-2013 Infiniti G35/G37 Sedan / 2011-2012 G25 Sedan w/o sport

Feel free to chime in and I'll add them to the list.

I've never purchased anything from a junkyard so please forgive the stupid question. What procedure did you use to find them? Somewhere we can look online? Call the junkyards individually? I need a spare for my 2003 sc430 where at some point a shop working on the car "misplaced it".

Thank you for the info! Well for a lexus sc 430 they let you pick the spare tire cariier, cover, and hoist but not the tire itself...will check some of the alternate choices mentioned.

Since Camry is such a popular car, I had success by finding a yard (pullapart) that listed online having several from the correct years. Then looked in trunks. $2 admission; $12 for donut. Wear heavy shoes and take gloves. Plus a trash bag to wrap the dirty thing.
good luck!
