Top left corner where it receives the roof pin and latch. The small left hole is where the pin goes into. I stuffed a small piece of cloth inside, so the pin would seat in snuggly.

Your problem is not that pin hole. Your roof is probably out of alignment. I recall there was a thread that addressing this issue but I’m not sure. Do the search, you might find the answer. Others may chime in.

Your absolutely right Gman. in my opinion, he should measure the gap across the front and see is there is any difference when closed. If not, then he is probably looking at something loose in the latching mechanism. Stuffing cloth in the hole is just compensating for some kind of mechanical failure. Since the top is Aluminum, it could be fairly easily damaged. I personally would pull the headliner for a thorough inspection of the entire latching mechanism. Just my opinion. And we know what their worth.

What Gman and Raven say make sense. But for now, I'll see how my "stuff cloth" holds up. To me, the cloth is acting like a shim to snug everything up.

I'm afraid of I fiddle too much, I might open a can of worms. Thanks!
