Default Power Steering Pumps- What replacement to go with?

Working on an 05 that sat for years. Running great now but the pump is making horrible noises. Looked like it was full of PSF, not ATF. Was as black as can be. Ran some sea foam Trans-Tune through it. Full of ATF now but still making noise. Sounds like the bearing at the pulley is going out. Sucks as this pump has never leaked.
Not sure what an OEM pump would run but I'm guessing it's $500+. Anyone go with a pump from Rockauto? New/Reman?

Most will use a re manufactured pump. I went with a new Cardone pump a couple years ago and it has been fine. Got it from Rockauto for $239.00.

So the re-man pumps would obviously just be OEM pumps that have been rebuilt. A new Cardone pump? Their own design? Copy of the OEM?

Unlikely their own design. Probably a copy of the OEM. Again, no problems with the new Cardone. It works as designed either way.
