A slight face lift and going from a 5 speed to a 6 speed. LED tail light came in the 06 I believe. Other than that I don't believe there were many other changes. I have an 06 and my son his an 05.

Thanks. I didnt think there was much. On the 5 speed vs the 6 speed, I have a question. When you put it in "D" and then move it to "S" look at the instrument panel, it says it is in 5th gear at top end. But if you pull it back to "S" then tap it up, it goes to 6, so does "D" not use the top gear? Or is the display incorrect.

mine might as well. I am not in the car. BUT....what does that say about what gear "D" tops out at. Why do they call a transmission that will only shift to 5, a 6 speed transmission. I dont think its proper to refer to reverse as a "speed"

Guys, if you go to S, you driving manually. At the red light, you can downshift to 1 then upshift. My 07 will go to 6. I have never shifted to S when the car in motion, but I believe it will shift to 4 then you can manually upshift to 5 then 6.

OK, then yiou are saying one of two things.
1) D doesnt go all the way to 6 ?
OR
2) When you shift to S while running it automaticaly down shifts one gear?

It’s simple. When you in D, it automatically goes to the gears according to the SC speed. When you in S mode, it’s manual transmission. You will manually shift it thru the gears 1-6 for an 06+ SC. Like I said, I have never shifted to S mode while the car in motion but I believe it will go to 4.

1. Turn the key to the ON position, foot off the brake, door closed, seat belt unbuckled.
2. As soon as the display is on, press the trip button as needed until the ODO is displayed (not trip A or B) AND THEN CONTINUE TO HOLD THE TRIP BUTTON DOWN WITH THE ODO DISPLAYED.
3. Continue to press and hold this same trip button (not the reset button) and hold for about 30 seconds.
4. While still holding the trip button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt. (Can you spell contortionist?)
5. The odometer display should read "b ON" or "b OFF". toggle the beep OFF with the trip button (again not the reset button).
6. Turn off the ignition when you have the setting that you want.
7. Continue using your seat belt.
