I've been searching for an answer for the loud bang metal/metal when go over bump in my car after I installed the SPC/Mevotech adjustable Upper Control Arm (UCA) together with my coil overs. Turn out, that sound is the result of my UCA arms hitting the frame when go over bumps. My question is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Obviously the SPC/Mevotech is tubular and thicker than stock so that could be the reason why.
My solution so far, is to increase the damper rate to maximum and it seems to help but there go ride quality.
If I don't use the SPC/Mevotech UCA, then I'll lose that +2 degree camber adjustment.
I only dropped the car about 1 1/2 in via coil overs but the 19in rims raise the car 1/2 so technically, the car is about 1in lower than stock.
