Default Door Speakers Rattling

Hello All,

Before I share details:
  • I have already searched the forum and cannot find answers
  • The issue occurs after I installed new 8 ohm 6x9’s and 8 ohm mid ranges

I installed new speakers and reinstalled the door panels. Their is a rattle coming from the 6x9 woofers on both doors. I take off the door panel and no issue. I removed the speaker grate/cover in the door pane and reinstalled the door panel without the speaker cover and no rattle.

Why is the factory speaker grill in the door panel giving me issues?

perhaps the speaker is not a good fit and vibrates against the grill.
does the rattle go away if you press on the door panel or grill?

could you post a video of the options you described?
