Car won't crank over after battery change

Thought I provide closure to this post and hopefully help others in the future. The cause was a blown 140 amp alternator fuse, #53-ALT in the engine compartment fuse box #1. Without it, dashboard won't light up, trunk and gas cap won't open and gear box won't swift. Thanks everyone.

May be common knowledge but always pull the negative first then the positive and make damn sure they don’t touch when still connected to the battery. On installation positive first then negative.

It still doesn’t answer the question: how did the fuse blow? Did you crossed the connection?
