INTERIOR COLORS and Timing Belt
Can someone verify that the lightest interior color is Ecru and sometimes labeled as "tan" when sellers list ads? I'm trying to find a low mileage SC and the pictures in some ads seem to give off almost an off- white, very bright looking interior while others come thru as
being closer to the beige family. Interiors can only be saddle, carmel, or ecru , correct besides the black?
second question is timing belts get changed at 60K miles or 90K? The older cars of this era to my knowledge suggest a sooner replacement and what are those costs to have done?
thank you!

Correct on the timing belt. The earlier models manuals called for 60k but since the engine hasn't changed but the schedule did, you can work with the newer recommendation. However, there is also a timed recommendation associated with that of 9 years. So if the belt hasn't been changed in 9 years or more, it is time to change the belt along with the various other components in the vicinity (water pump, idler arm, etc.).

Timing Belt and Water Pump replacement typically cost around $1500. If you buy the Asin kits online, have a qualified mechanic installed you can cut the cost down under $1000, or even less than half if you install them yourself. There are many threads pertain to this subject. Do a search.

Yeah, from non-dealers, I got quoted in the vicinity of $1000 for timing belt, water pump and other stuff that should be done when you are in there (tensioners, etc.).
