The center console (Saddle) on my car is soiled and crackeled (not cut or damaged) just looks like honeycomb from years of body oils.
I want to restore it and am wondering if there is a chemical tretment that will heal the honeycomb and remove the discoloration? Or in the alternat5ive I will put on a new leather cover.
Has anyone put on a new cover? They are cheap enough, but I dont know how easy it is to stretch them over the console and glue them down.

Looks great. I am encouraged. I only need the console done. I should be able to do that in my sleep compared to what you guys did. I got the cover on its way here now for just $22 shipped.

The cover arrived today, looks great, real leather an only $22 shipped. No I just have to get some contact cement. Thanks for the link.
