Changing my stock pie plates to aftermarket. I see all the questions about tire size and offset..and I am now confused so let me lay out my question. If I am ( and I am ) looking to fill the wheel well in both height and width. What would be the best set up in rim diameter and width ( staggered or not ), best offset ( I am assuming in the negative to reach the edge of the wheel well ) and best coil over setup so that nothing rubs, where I can still use my TPMS and have a reasonably comfortable ride when bumpy?
....not an expert on this, but what diameter tire are you going or wanting to use (18,19,20) ? This might give some members better options in answering. I'm running 18x8.5 (f) with 235/40/18. I think my offset is 25. On the rear, I'm running 18x9.5 (r) 275/35/18 with an offset of 20. My car has been lowered & it does not rub. It's a very smooth ride, but with it being lowered, you do feel the harshness on very bumpy roads......hope this helps some
