Our door locks generally work and respond to the remote. The issue is when we are driving, stop, put the car into park and shut the ignition off, the passenger door stays locked. To exit, we need to manually unlock it with the button on the armrest. It is our wish to have both doors unlock when we stop driving and turn the ignition off prior to exiting. Any ideas or thoughts are sincerely appreciated.

It is a setting that can only be changed with software called Techstream.
sadly these and many other setting cannot be changed on the touch screen.
the dealer can make the changes for you but it is expensive.
the techstream software and cable used to be $20-$25 on eBay or Amazon but with the chip shortage the prices have gone way up.

i changed my door locks to unlock both doors when I put it in park and it locks both doors when I put it in drive.
