Default Coilovers...Shociks...Struts 2006 sc430

My problem is Hobby Horseing for several cycles after hitting a dip at high speed.
My car is a 2006 SC-430 with high milage struts.
I dont race it, or go aff road, just want a pleasnt ride on the highway.

OK, I have spent two days searching and researching. Now I have questions I need answers to that I DIDNT find.

1) Does a 2006 SC 430 have air bags??

2) Two vendors that dont sell rear shocks, say that IS what I need. Since they dont sell them I feel comfotrable with their answers since they are not selling me anything. They didnt even try to sell me front shocks. Are they right?

3) What is the difference between "Struts" and "Coil overs" are they interchangeable?

4) Will I need a spring compressor to install either?.

very funny, McGee.

If you buy coilovers, spring compressors are not necessary as you can adjust the height of the entire assembly, as well as adjust dampening and height to your likening. Generally, when spring oscillations are not dampened it is a sign of worn out shocks. Replacing just the shocks, however, will fix this issue for far cheaper than coilovers will. By default, the shocks and springs on these cars are known as 'spring-over-shocks' and not called coilovers, as the name coilover pertains to the adjustability of said coilover (height and dampening adjustments). On my car, (99 GS300), I didn't opt for coilovers as at the time, I hadn't the money for it and I had some new rear shocks already.

Regarding the air bags, I'd make a Mother-in-law joke here but mine wasn't that bad, so I'll restrain myself. Insert your own jokes here...

Mine WAS that bad. When she died one of her sisters came over to me and sugested that I should attend the viewing of the courpse. I am not fond of that practice to begin with. Her sister said, "She looks so natural!" I responded to the invitation by asking, "Is her mouth open?" "If not, then she doesnt look natural."
