Looks great. But I ordered the cable with software and the software does not install properly and the seller wont talk to me. So I have the cable but cannot use it.

Jim, if I was in the Great state of Tx, I would come by and help you install the software…
I am not the best but sure would give it a try…

Jim

If the rear struts and the spare tire confused you trust me you do not even want to try and play with techstream. much less trying to get it installed on a 64 bit laptop.

I think I can handle computers. I was there at the beginning, programming my first computer in 1960, I was programming one of the first two IBM7070 computers. Made my living for 40+ years designing computers and software. But the probloem here is that the software installs and runs up untill I try to use it and it asks for a code/key and the seller did not provide me with that key. It appears that this is booot leg software and that is why he wont talk to me about it.

The problem with undersdtanding the rear struts and spare are problems of poor documentation that says one thing in one place and something else in another. Such as 4.5" bolt circle, 114.3 mm bolt circle and 116mm bolt circle. This is not self generated confusion, this is eroneous documentation. And the rear shocks is again sellers trying to sell something that does not exist. And with carefull engineered words to sell but not to educate. Apparently there ARE no aftermarket shocks for the rear of the 2006 SC. So my confusion is not me, its bad documentation. And I resent the implication.

I have two university degrees and an IQ of 135

If you have a Master Key, I think this technique and Close-Open door technique work for some SC models (did not work for my 07 SC, did not know why?). This technique is only for imobilize function, not for remote control functions. Still need TechStream

Well ain't that special. Installing Techstream on a 64 bit machine ain't your mothers IBM 7070.
