Default "compact spare"?

Is there a "compact spare" that has the proper bolt circle for the 2006 Lexus SC-430?

Yes, there have been a few threads about this. Years ago, I bought an old Supra spare (from the 90s). I believe the Mazda RX8 I believe did also but it is a smaller tire but also lighter.

Yes there is a ton of info out there on the forum for spare tires and spare tire installation kits including lists of the parts needed and the part number that goes along with it. You may find it confusing and expensive but you can "Getter Done".

I am not looking for "installation kits" or multiple parts, I am just looking for a wheel with rubber on it that I can specify in an ebay search. I will just throw it in the back where the hole is.

Yes I searched. The only thing I got was Camry...without a year. The threads all present parts numbers for installation kits and parts. I just want to know what the year and make of a car spare that has the propper bolt circle. I dont want to install ANYTHING. I just want to know the year of that damned Camry.

Then search for Camry spare year in the sc430 forum if that’s what you are looking for

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...pare-tire.html

or rx7
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...rks-sc430.html

or is350 (also address Camry year in post 36)

OK, guys, I give up. Those tires were ALL 17" wheels. I dont know about yours but my SC430 has 18" wheels.

I will just go to a junk yard and search their inventory its easier than pulling hens teeth.

Yes, the standard SC430 spare tire is a 17" wheel, bolt pattern 114.3 x 5, tire size 145/70R17.

From my reading those threads, I believe the OEM SC430 spare is 17" . That (and the width) are why it's a called a "space saver" and why your SC430 trunk / top will operate with it in the slot and I'd guess it won't with an 18" spare.

It's not meant to be a full size OEM replacement for any distance. Lexus would not have used that size for the OEM spare if it was unsafe.

That spare is what comes with the spare tire kit. But remember, the spare's wheel size is 17" but the spare tire size is is 140/70. I just went and measured my spare and my tires (standard 18") and they are the same height.
