Default Oh my baby !

Anh...! ****** ! Sorry for my language but my anger has gone to the roof. I came out from the store and sighted this horrible scene to my SC. Some ******** has backed into my girl, done the damage and left without any note nor conscience. It happened yesterday afternoon, the damage was to the rear left panel and also the bumper. I have filed the hit-and-run claim to my insurance, my girl will get fixed but the scar to my heart won’t be easily vanished. That’s suck.

The first thing that went to my mind is “oh no, my roof “. But when I got in my car, pushed the “Open” button, the roof retracted nicely into the trunk. Thanks God. Pushed the “Open” the it closed up without any problem. Done it twice and everything seemed OK.
I’m heading to the body shop now.

That sucks! Good that the roof is OK. What a loser and a jerk for the person without regard to their damage. Take it to a good shop, good luck.

Agree, that sucks. Any chance the store has cameras on the light poles?

ouch! so sorry to hear and see this GmanSC. looks like the vehicle parked on your left pulled out and turned their wheel too soon?

glad the roof still working and it appears no damage to trunk lid or tailight.

i hope she comes back good as new.

I don’t think it’s done by the car from the left parking space. Judging from the angle and the damage, it has to be a truck with cast iron bumper, which has parked perpendicular. My car was next to the last (the FJ was the last) of the horizontal. I think the truck in the vertical, backed out with wheel turn to the right, went to far and smashed to my SC. Now she has a record. That’s really suck.

GmanSC

That sucks. That is the risk you run every time you drive it.

that's really f up. The whole panel will need to be replaced. I hope there is a security camera pointing to that location.

Man that sucks. As others have commented, see if there are any security cameras in the parking lot.

Good luck

Oh Gman…my heart goes out to you…you take such good care of your SC430 and some person does this to you…very wrong and hope they are found. Find a good body shop and the damage will be corrected 100%

That's quite a damage for someone trying to park and hit the car.

Crime in California is running out of control.
