Coming up on 100,000 mi maintenance point. Have not done any 'major' replacements other than tires. Still runs great BUT would like input on things I definitely should replace. I plan on timing belt & tension bearings, water pump, drive belts, rad cap, spark plugs, brakes, rear end and xmission oil plus engine oil & filter. I'll replace the 2 air filters and the pwr steering fluid myself. Do I get new radiator and brake fluids as part of the above service? Should I replace O2 sensor(s)? Shocks? Any gaskets? Plug wires? Clean or replace injectors? And BTW, how do they get the oil out of the xmission?
If I have this done at a Japanese specialty repair shop how far do you think $3500 will go? (I'm in Tucson, AZ. Any recommendations on a good shop?)
Thanks

Look it up in the maintenance requirements in the Owners manual. Me, I would recommend replacing all hoses (vacuum and Fluid) and install new clamps as well. If the TB has NOT been changed, I would recommend you not drive it until it is. We have an "interference " type engine. That belt breaks, kiss you motor goodbye.

I would replace TB and WP as soon as possible but I don’t think the TB will snap if you continue driving your SC. We have member that replaced the TB at 130K miles. Of course, anything could happen. As Paul said, if your TB break, the piston will collide with the valves. Do what your guts tell you.

In addition to above, a lot of people have had issues with leaking power steering hoses (that attach to the reservoir), so you may want to change out those as preventive maintenance. Yes, change all your fluids, including the trans and brake. While the tranny is sealed, there are still drain and fill ports. Replace your t-stat when you do your timing belt.
